Welcome to the art website of Yilian Mangada. Born in 1989 in Zurich, Switzerland. Art has always been an important part in my life. As with many artists, I was a lone fighter for many years. I didn’t take my creative self seriously. After years of experimentation, I’m very happy to share my art journey on this website.

I hope that with this art website I can raise general awareness about the creation of art. Some common myths might be more harmful than helpful to many people. ‹Only talented artists should create art and I don’t belong to them›, to name an example. If you are longing for expressing yourself through the creation of art, then you should do it. It will feel so much more genuine. Don’t worry about your talent, your age or whatever could stand in your way. Take a piece of paper and a pen and let yourself do the magic.
