Art – a shadowy existence
Born in 1989 in Zurich, Switzerland. Art has always been an important part in my life. As with many artists, I was a lone fighter for many years. I didn’t take my creative self seriously.
The realisation
When the Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came out, I played it for over hundred hours. This experience changed me. My inner calling for art creation resulted in many sleepless nights. How could I study and grow as an artist? There were too many non-art related tasks to be done, on a daily basis!
I am an artist!
Thanks to the tireless faith and help of my partner and my dear sister, as well as my parents and lovely friends, I’m happy to be able to work on art projects today.
This art website is an art portfolio and an art journal at the same time. Why? An art piece isn’t only an art piece. The whole creative process is such a delight to see. The painting itself is only the end result of many experimentations and decisions.
Goal of this website
I hope that with this art website I can raise general awareness about the creation of art. Some common myths might be more harmful than helpful to many people. ‹Only talented artists should create art and I don’t belong to them›, to name an example.
If you are longing for expressing yourself through the creation of art, then you should do it. It will feel so much more genuine. Don’t worry about your talent, your age or whatever could stand in your way. Take a piece of paper and a pen and let yourself do the magic.
