This was my first project of the CG spectrum course ‚concept art foundations‘, painted in Photoshop. Thanks to the incredible support of my mentor Peter Ocampo, I was able to bring a fuzzy idea into a finished concept. This agile, dynamic and highly intelligent android could be a great farmer for smaller tea gardens with the ability to not only water the tea plants, but also to pick the tea leaves with the high precision that is needed. He could also be their doctor or even friend and a mediator between the tea plants and humans. 🌿🤝
I’m a passionate tea lover. 🫖 But the tea farming work is highly labor intensive, and the part of the tea leaves picking can be dangerous. I hope that we’ll soon be able to cultivate tea farms (or the smaller versions, the tea gardens) in a safer and more sustainable way. This could be achieved by developing androids for the tea farming work and by also improving the labor conditions for the tea making process, among other things.
